I'm trying to cherish the last moments of high school, finding more joy in the tinier things in life.In the past two days
- Bodelia and I pissed ourselves laughing at Melissa Mango-chicken
- Everyone shat themselves the moment the teacher was handing out our marks
- I gave back Devina the 5 dollars I borrowed and then her asking if she could borrow another $5 for lunch
- Felt like a failure
- Stressed out when people kept talking about how far in studying they are
- Fought over fiscal consolidation and fiscal policy haha
- Enjoyed the fresh smell of Subway
- Bought 9 avocados suddenly with Melissa and Bodelia (because they were so cheap and we went crazy)
- Shared two salads because you couldn't afford it by yourself
- Sending "Love u" to Jay and then suddenly apologising as Luan was close to tears
- Watched Samantha spend the whole English lesson quiet as she takes English very seriously and everyone knew that she didn't do as well from her expressions
- Talked about Samantha and John sitting together again and saying how "omg it's the 5th time going on and off again"
- People worried over that it would start raining (because they didn't bring umbrellas)
- Listened to tutor repeating himself, "study hard guys"
It's these things which I think everyone should cherish more, as it only happens during high school, it only happens once. To me, university just sounds like a massive step, a step you take where you become mature, constraining you from who you were in high school (if that makes any sense).
But yeah, appreciate these things more as they're not going to happen again.
