Sunday 7th July
Brother dragged me out to dinner with Mary and we ended up at Pancakes on the Rocks, which was funny because we didn't end up eating any pancakes anyway. It was also my grandma's birthday!

I basically made my brother print a shitload of past papers (which I probably won't do) and in one document I suspiciously named it 'Caringbah High 2012 Trials' but it really was these two pictures and I can't believe he print it off for me and placed it in a nice file ehehehe c:

Doing the NSGHS past paper with cutlery

Lemon lime bitters as usual!

I ordered the seafood crepe (even though my brother and Mary kept saying that the chicken and mushroom was really nice) and in the end I regretted my hasty decision. Tasted like crap, it was just mushy stuff and they had like three tiny tiny prawns inside and fish which didn't even take the form of fish. Even I could do a better job for a $15 dish

Mexicana crepe (which apparently was quite nice but I decided to eat the chip instead of trying the actual thing) The tadoori pizza was alright, could have been better? The mint sauce and mango chutney looks like someone just slabbed it on and the cashew nuts were quite... unusual for a pizza

My belated birthday gift from Mary!

Bro went Singapore and bought me Royce Chocolate again! Royce Chocolate is weird because you can only buy it in certain Japanese airports and in Singaporean airports, so basically you can't find it anywhere else. But yeah, they were given a sample to try and they just had to buy it and my bro got me green tea ehehehe This stuff is beautiful, it melts in your mouth and I finished it in one night

Monday 8th July- Japanese Extension Workshop Tanken Centre

Their obento's are always the #1 thing I look forward to during the day. This is the best one I've had so far (compared to my 10 other Tanken experiences) and I could live on this everyday I swear to Buddha

Human Jenga on Celine

It was a nice afternoon when we finished class!

Shoe appreciation post. These were 100元 which is probably something a bit expensive (seeing that it's made in China) but it's sturdy, comfortable and durable so it's definitely worth the price! (Imitation of Doc Martens I guess) Will probably buy ten thousand more pairs when I go back to Shanghai

These were half of the papers I asked my brother to print off for me, definitely not going to get through 95% of them. I 'll probably do two then give up on life.

Thursday 12th July

I am so sick of Japanese right now

Dinner with mummy! It's been so long since we've gone out to eat and since it was already 8:30pm we headed off to Hurstville RSL and finally there's a restaurant which provides nicely sized cups!! When it comes to Asian dining I am a tea whore, I will consume all the tea but it annoys me when I have to refill every 50 seconds because the moment I take sip, the cup's empty already so yeah I was super happy! The tea, rice and soup was all complimentary!

The bistro in the RSL is definitely not a fan of presentation but their food is definitely delicious! They also gave you a shitload for your money's worth so give it a go. Usually the pork is coated with copious amounts of flour just to make it look like a generous serving but this was 98% meat which was super appetizing

When I saw this I literally shat myself because I never knew it was this big. Whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always need something 椒盐 (seasoned with salt/chilli) and because they didn't have prawn as an option (which I always get) I went for 左口 not sure about its name in English but it was a type of fish and shit it was big o___o For $15 mum and I were expecting random chunks of fish/a small fried fish but when they served this we knew we were going to leave the restaurant with our buttons undone (not literally)

Finished dinner at 9:30pm, walking was nearly impossible because we were just so full.
Whilst going home something happened which made me quite happy for some reason (took me a while to process but I found myself smiling) so I guess it was a good day today!
