While summarising economics, I felt thankful that I chose it as an elective.I remember Jessica (Lee) ever since year 9 (when we had to choose subjects) would never stop saying how commerce/economics is a stupid subject.
- She chose commerce and stayed for like 2 lessons or someshit
- In order for you to tell me it's stupid, you have to.. I don't know, DO THE ACTUAL FUCKING SUBJECT
- Any introduction to any subject will appeal boring to students because first off, you don't know anything about it yet which is why you're probably pondering off and secondly, when you're determined to drop it the next lesson you're gonna lose interest in it sooner or later
- It's hilarious that she finds it stupid because everything around her has something to do with economics. The folder she buys for school, the pens she uses for exams and the paper she writes on for notes are all fucking related to economics. This shit is an example of consumer demand which boosts economic growth (no matter how small these things seem, that's what she said) which contributes to inflationary figures which the RBA uses to help them set interest rates and shit whiCH ULTIMATELY DETERMINES HOW MUCH MOOLAH YOU PAY FOR THESE THINGS. Aka it's a cycle which you've been contributing to ever since your birth (which you clearly don't realise) so joke's on you when you're saying that economics and shit isn't important when it clearly dictates your life.
- It's a neat system which is involved with everyone on a daily basis. So instead of finding this shit "stupid", you should instead be thankful of how economics makes your life in Australia fucking better. You know that recession during 2008 where all these countries fucked up? Well thanks to this "boring shit", the Australian population who fucking do this "stupid stuff" for a living, saved your fucking ass from going poor you ignorant lil shit
- I could just imagine her in the future being all prestigious (if she does get a good job) but flunk out financially
- Anyway, so my point here is that don't say shit when you don't know shit
But back to my first point, I'm thankful I chose this subject. In the future, this understanding and knowledge will make my life easier (as in financially understand things better compared to some people who just underestimate this entire fucking subject). I would know when to save, when to invest and how the future economic prospects will affect me (unlike some ignorant fuckwit who clearly doesn't understand how big of a part economics/commerce will be in your future life).
And also because of the fact that the world revolves around money, (and impacts your life greatly) you ought to teach yourself about how these things will affect you in the future (since it's all about the money, money, money)
And this post makes it seem like I hate Jessica or something, which to clear up- I don't. It's just some things she says are kinda fucking inconsiderate and stupid and talking shit about an elective which over a quarter of the state chooses is gonna get her bashed one day (which I had already done, but verbally LOL) It's like going to a person who loves anime and telling them 'omg it's just a waste of time' SHUT YOUR HOLE OKAY. Or going to a mangaka and telling them 'omg drawing is such child's play' DO YOU WANT A FUCKING CACTUS UP YOUR ANUS Or telling me that Naruto is bad... I HOPE YOU SWALLOW A FUCKING FLY WHICH EATS ITS WAY OUT OF YOUR THROAT.
