Spent lunch at the fish market, which isn't as nice as it appears in photos cry

I was looking forward to lobster mornay but brother came back with this instead.... which was still good :') Although there was a strong fishy taste with the octopus and calamari which I really hoped was something I wouldn't taste but in the end sigh

Photo does not do the scampi justice but they were fucking massive. The meat was really sweet and refreshing as well and omfg this beauty (but this was really really expensive though). Dad even said it tasted better than lobster meat

First time any of us saw the roe of scampi and holy fuck we were all shocked at it being blue. Mary said it tasted like nothing so oh welps

Before going to the fish market, we actually visited the apartment in Pyrmont first. It was a tiring trek and in the morning I woke up with my back aching like fuck and then the half an hour walk to the apartment made me feel like I aged another 50 years, with my back about to snap in half. I was kinda disappointed I guess... the floor pan on the sheet of paper made it look massive massive but it wasn't as big as I imagined (I have exaggerated high hopes) but yeah it reminds me of our old apartment in Hurstville (even the elevators are the same) But that walk from Central station killed me

After having lunch Mary took mum and dad to the station and headed off for a haircut whereas my bro and I (while waiting for Mary) decided to get gelato from Messina and Zonuts from Adriano Zumbo.

Let me present to you Zonuts! ($5) They're actually meant to be called Cronuts (a donut but made from crossaint pastry) and this is another beauty of the day. The one in front is something something lime and basil which at first I wtfed at but when I took my first bite, it was amazeballs. Chocolate chip (i think) at the back and it was good but not as good as the savoury one omfg
