Rewatching Curse of the Golden Flower with mum (well I watched like the end 5 minutes where everyone died) and holy shit I finally get why it's called curse of the golden flower (I sound like an absolute idiot right now but this mindfuck for me)- Imo, from the five minutes and my hazy memory from primary, the curse is the part where everyone dies because Jay Chou and Gong Li die (because of faggot Emperor who also whipped his fucking youngest son with a belt to death and somehow killed the first son (which I don't know how but he's dead by the time I was finishing it off)
- They all die (the troops) on Chrysanthemum fields aka golden flowers and holy shit it was the most amazing death ever (i know i shouldn't be saying this about death) but their armour was gold and dying on a field of yellow is like a pretty death LOL
