Waiting for the doctor and then bAM a dog comes out of nowhere, it was the fluffiest thing ever so #nocomplaints

Because the red pepper paste would be going to waste if I left half the tub in the fridge rotting away, I decided to make one handed ddeokbokki (again). This time the rice cake didn't split as much compared to my first attempt and I had to ask my mum to slice the vegetables because my right arm just did not feel like my right arm at all, more like a limb hanging off my shoulder. Then I soaked out the flavour from the anchovies and let it boil, scooping it out after ten minutes (and the smell was so fishy urgh)
Normally with every 3 and a half cups of water, you put in the three spoonfuls of red pepper paste. I went for four cups and well over four spoonfuls of red pepper paste crey (which is why it came out a shitload more orangey/reddy but photos didn't do its justice so it probably looks normal here) Also substituted honey for sugar and it tasted 100 times more sugoiiii! Decided to make chicken skewers? But because we ran out of skewers mum and I decided to use toothpicks, first world problems.
Guys do you not see this beauty still bubbling in the bowl, best procrastination session ever.
