You know those people who are academically smart but socially stupid?- Like yes they have top grades
- But what if they lack social skills and fail their job interviews
- Yes if you're good at what you do your job opportunities also increase but they also see how well you communicate (regardless of industry ya noe) You need to convince your employer that you are the candidate they are searching for and you need to be well at this skill called 'bullshitting' (or for other people, expressing your strengths") in order to make you that perfect candidate ya noe and if you can't express this then you might as well be fucked??
- So yeah good grades doesn't mean you have a guaranteed, well-prospected future okay

- And stop boasting about your "smartness" like seriously a kid like you who has been tutoring for all his high school life and attends tutor a solid 3-4 times a week yet continues to do "alright" in your school kinda means you're stupid. You work so hard and your parents pour out money for you to go to all these tutoring institutions yet you still only do "average". I'm not saying that this applies to everyone i.e. you're stupid if you do okay (despite all the tutoring) it's just that this particular kid seriously crossing a line here and if he doesn't stfu soon (about how he's so much better than all the other people in schools lower than his school and how he thinks he's so great) I'm going to smash him urgh
- Like you're meant to do exceptionally well for going to tutor for all these years and so many times a week. You're legit going to some sort of tutor/school for all your subjects so if you're still struggling to get 98-99 atar then seriously just shhhhhhhhhh
