Last HSC exam - Japanese Extension celebration with Cindy and Celine!!

I'm picky about the raw seafood I eat and octopus raw just didn't appeal to me so I traded it for the sweet egg with Cindy ehehehe (as you guys know I love sweet egg I would eat it everyday if I could actually make it properly sigh)

Celine's teriyaki chicken and rice, Cindy's $18.50 seafood ramen and my karage chicken ramen! I would usually order the udon with the tempura prawn but I felt like ramen and the seafood ramen was out of my budget so I settled for chicken sigh. 

Dessert at Meet Fresh. I keep making the *Tina's furrowing eyebrow* face while others just derp around. It truly was an afternoon well spent, we kept asking each other 'HOLY SHIT ARE WE REALLY DONE' and probably said 'OH MY FUCKING GOD WE ARE DONE' a few too many times. 

This was the night before 3U maths where I 'slept over' at Devina's. We ordered Thai because I was craving for sticky mango rice and at around 2am we made a diet bet? (Even though I've done nothing so far because I cabobs. Duma Anthony cabobs caught on I h8 u). Basically a $400 Michael Kors bag is on the line (I've previously blogged about this Michael Kors bag I really wanted earlier in the year and Devina recently also found her obsession with it so I guess this is perfect). The top left is actually laksa from our Japanese study date where we ended up playing with cards instead and then brunch at Miranda. This laksa is to die for, I've been craving it for the past two weeks and I was gonna treat my fambam to more laksa but poor time concluded that I didn't have enough moolah to afford anything :'( 

Shitty overpriced meal at Sky Phoenix, can you believe the top left plate costed more than $28. I could shit out more than that. As you can see Monday nights are deserted bUT FUCKING HELL SERIOUSLY THAT'S ALL THEY SERVED I'M SO ANGRY :( 

That shopping haul I went on and ended up with Lord of the Fries. Not as great as I expected, overcooked but the sauce was good. I recently realised that I eat things for the sauce (if that makes any sense). Like I wouldn't buy the fries if it weren't for the sauce just like how I wouldn't really buy fish and chips unless I was actually craving tartae sauce. Weird I know but das me. 

Top 2 midnight macca's run, remaining idek 

Rowena's 18th birthday yesterday! Ended up staying until midnight with dead feet (7 hours of standing, walking, running and dancing does not do well to your lower body okay). The group wanted to buy alcohol first so they dragged me along to choose (thanks guise for trusting me) but because of our budget we bought a shitty vodka that tasted like death. It smelt toxic, it tasted toxic and the vodka to coke ratio in my cup was screwed up. People were doing 1:5 (vodka to coke) but Leilei and I went 1:1 and it was so fucking gross (im 75% of the disgust rooted from the fact that it was shit vodka ok, it's not supposed to taste like intense methylated spirits urgh). Caught up with Austin from primary! Truth be told I don't actually remember him but he remembered me...(and gave nice hugs!)? I always thought I was the kid that no one remembered hahaha. Later around midnight Cynthia Shirley and I ran to Maccas (a Macca's run means actual running okay) and it was probably the greatest meal ever (idk why). Everyone left at midnight because the bar was closing so the remaining group just waited outside of the bar to get picked up and one of the guy's fly was unzipped but it was so awks that I couldn't tell him LOL 

Baroque bar with the 9 girlies today! Baroque burger with lemon lime and bitters (you can tell this is mine because of the lemon lime and bitters ($5.50), it's a necessary for me at every restaurant). I can't eat fries alone (as I mentioned before I eat it for the sauce) so I asked for a side of aioli and it was fucking amazing. Too bad the burger was small ($20) and the 'frites' tasted like McDonald fries. 

The only meals I managed to grab a snap of. Kelly's pork belly, Melissa and Teresa's beef something (amazing mash) and Cindy's idek what. Bodelia and Jessica's lamb shank was massive and Erica had her salad. We ended up swapping plates in the end because we wanted each others left overs LOL Like I ate the mash while 5 people finished my fries off and I also scabbed a bit of Teresa's remaining beef (it was a large portion) and tried Erica's weird ass salad which I didn't like at all LOL I didn't even know what I was eating half of the time 

Bought a soap bar (because it smelt amazeballs) and took a few too many samples (it was one kind per customer) 

Sally's coconut and pandan cake is amazing okay and it's only $6 you guys should try it sometime.

Really nice day today!

We then went to the Museum of Contemporary Art because we all needed to pee and it was so hot outside. We ended up woah-ing at the see through elevator and exploring the gallery. 

6 years of friendship in one photo- imitating weird ass poses. As you can see on the very left of the photo there's a really fucked up pose where the legs go up. I wanted Bodelia to imitate but she refused crey and the supervisor of the section was actually staring at us the entire time so the embarrassment was also a factor of refusal LOL

This is really amazing, the colours flip from time to time (i actually recorded a video) 

My favourite in the gallery. No one in the group actually saw it, they just walked passed but this caught my eye and I legit fell behind 500km from the group just to take a photo. The first thing I thought of was 'Time waits for no one' from the movie 'The Girl Who Leapt through Time' and then into further deeper thought as I kept thinking about the true meaning behind this piece. Either way I love it because it's so minimalistic and it speaks out to me. 

We actually went Capitol Square after... it has been so long since I've stepped into a Purikura machine. You can tell the ones I decorated because I added weird shit to people (i.e. the turban on Teresa's head, the afro on Bodelia LOL) and on the top right of the picture another turban on Bodelia's head HAHAHA

The middle one reminds me of a penis I don't know why but I fucking loved the sculpture to the right, especially the art across the nose bridge omfg it's perf alsdjgladjgda I'd buy it if I had the money or the ability to ignore my constant fear of the sculpture's eyes suddenly opening (nearly shat myself trying to edit the picture) 

As the post went on I realised that this isn't a monthly recap at all LOL just random moments. But I also had to go tutor after (to get more moolah) and the last half an hour was spent helping the mum call up TPG to fix their modem issues and I got paid for that so I was pree chill hurhur. To be honest the mum's a bit of a psycho, end of story.
