(I think) Two Sundays ago a few friends and I went to Carols by Candlelight at Penshurst Park! Leilei and I first stopped by Daniel's place because I always wanted to visit Buddy (the golden retriever) ehehe and it was the ultimate chance and of course I couldn't decline when he offered. HOWEVER, Buddy smelt like absolute crap that day and I legit tried to not go near him sigh 

No one had a picnic mat so we had to stop by a dollar store beforehand and we bought a $2 table cloth instead. Arrived pretty early, played 99 and waited for everyone else to come. Anna (who offered to bring her picnic mat) was not only 30 hours late, but also forgot her picnic mat. Then Brian and Shirley also came along (which was surprising because they live in like east jesus so it would have been inconvenient for them to come) but they dogged early anyway. Our plan was to order takeout during the night but the site kept crashing on us and we ended up ordering a solid $60+ worth of pizza. A few people (dogs) left before the pizza came but the rest of us (Devina, Samuel, Daniel, Mon, Leilei, Luan, Jenny and Debbie) devoured the 6 pizzas and only left two slices to spare. 

The fireworks at the end (despite the rain) was actually pretty amazing, in my opinion even better than the ones I saw at Darling Harbour the night before. 

Anyway check out these sparkler photos I took. All the ones my friends posted where like just a yellow circle of light and then I go through my phone and fuaar this HD shit. Even though it took me a long time to take these photos (night scene lags but this quality) I was extremly, extremely happy chappy with the results. Look at them intricate sparks! Everyone also kept staring at us because instead of candles we were lighting up these big ass sparklers and we caused so much commotion when they wouldn't light LOL

Speaking of the fireworks the night before...

Right after brothel round 3 (no sleep and immediate 3 hours of karaoke) Devina and I made our way to Tom n Toms. I think this event was meant to say goodbye to those going overseas but the kids going overseas couldn't attend so it was just a chill night to hang out I guess. We had a macca's run and it was absolutely hilarious. I ordered for Jenny while she went to reserve the seats and Luan ordered for me instead. Due to the extremely long lines, there were only 15 minutes left to fireworks so we dogged the seats we reserved and rushed to find a spot by the harbourside. Turns out the meal Luan thought Cynthia and Rowena had was theirs and not ours (we ordered the same thing) which meant that... WE LEFT OUR ORDERS AT MACCA'S. With only less than 10 minutes left until fireworks, we ran back to Macca's, got our meals and hurried back. Then we realised, I FORGOT TO TAKE JENNY'S ORDER WOW. There were only 2 minutes left until fireworks so we decided to get her burger after. I had the strongest guilt trip crey :( 

Then we went to see the lights at Town Hall and the tree at Martin Place. I was dead as fuck so I basically sat like a hobo while everyone took luvos and 500 billion photos. And by 500 billion photos I actually mean 500 billion photos. 

There was a number you could text and by sending them a message, that message would appear on the Christmas tree and holy shit it worked. Devina and I took advantage of it and texted something and when it appeared we were (well at least I was idk about Devina) jumping on the inside. 

Legit sat on the cold ground of Martin Place because I was beyond dead.
