Even though I have to leave for work at 7 in the morning, this definitely brightens up any slow morning. 

Our quest to start eating healthy! As most of you know, I live 2-3 minutes from the fish market which means... fresh salmon! It's odd how the smell of fish is so strong while you're at the fish markets but once you leave, it disappears all at once.

While we waited in line for the salmon, the lady behind the counter was blow torching scallops. We both have an unhealthy "obsession" towards grilled scallops with cheese/cream and watching her make this right in front of us made resisting temptations a lot harder. I obviously gave in.. turns out the ones at Mizuya were 10 times better and there was rice cushioned behind the scallops... 

This was during week 1 of the move, brother came over and the entire family feasted at the fish markets. The moment I saw my brother head towards us with two massive platters, I died a little bit inside.

Since my brother was in Perth, Karina (his housemate) let me in instead. Turns out Karina had work commitments and had to head of to Newcastle that night so I had a free house for two nights.. which was much more fun than I had expected hehe. I also noticed the massive bottle of Chivas Regal (my brother had this since he was 18 or something, it's very old whisky)... but it was empty. I swear to god not long ago, it was pretty damn full. Now it's completely empty.. not sure what my brother is doing to his liver. 

Monday 19th May (I only remember the date for this because this was yesterday LOL) 

After tutor food adventures! It has been quite a while since I've paid a visit to Manmaruya and even longer since I've eaten their fried Camembert. Fortunately, it tasted even better than I remembered and if it wasn't for the company, then that would have been the highlight of the day. I was also so dead from allnightering my Everest management assignment, but I managed to shit out 2.6k of words in twelve hours time *pat on the back* It's a lot harder than it sounds. I literally sat on my brother's couch for half a day straight and refused to move unless nature was calling me (i.e. toilet break) 

I had to trek it to the other side of the harbour for a food run. Brother had his wisdom teeth operated on (they had to dig really, really deep) so all he had at home was soup and congee. I looked like a massive fat ass on the way back because I was holding a Macca's paper bag, a larger-than-usual chicken kebab (for Mary) and an original Boost. I also had to hold my wallet, phone and Karina's keys... 6 things in two hands yet I still managed to take scenic photos (do I get a medal here hehe) 

Pyrmont Bridge also opened for an incoming boat! This is the second time in my life witnessing this hehe

Yesterday's lunch date with the usual qts at Southern Wok. Kenjin's nasi goreng 

My wonton soup (the gave me wonton laksa at first and tbh Southern Wok's laksa isn't that great so I was like yeah no sorry I didn't actually order this. Usually I would play it cool and be like oh well whatever but I couldn't let it slide this time hurhur). Brian's salted fish fried rice, he always gets this. I think it's a tradition now or something but whenever I order food at Southern Wok with Brian, we have several intense food trades for a minute or two. We full swap plates and shit, worth.

~Two days before Perdisco~ Luan getting wasted from "wine"... or sparkling grape drink. Loljokes, 6am and the beauty is snoring away. I was meant to finish fucking Perdisco but I ended up playing LoL with Lulu for god knows how long and we were the best duo, Tentacle Tina and Morgana (Tentacle Tina because I was playing as the guy with three tentacles and my LoL ign is ttina so Tentacle Tina happened). Being the classy ladies we are, we spent half an hour trying to order Domino's... we then dnmed over pizza. LoL'ed and continued to talk until midnight where I decided that it was a time for a two hour nap then hardcore Perdisco. Luan ended up falling asleep so I woke up at 6am, shitting myself because I had done 0% of Perdisco... and I was determined to finish that motherfucker by the time morning came. 

Left Luan's house at 7:45am, jigged my Japanese tutorial, took the 943 to Peakhurst, found a dandelion and chilled on a swing. Accompanied by a noob until 2 then left for work at Burwood.

Before food adventures, I clearly remember going to Townhole Pool for two hours with Busy Brian (who wasn't busy during that time omg miracle) and we played 13 games. How does one even play 13 games in 120 minutes. I also got shat on, I was having a very bad day sigh. During the last few minutes of the two hours, we went crazy and tried to play the fastest game we could (balls hitting walls, balls flying off tables, running from side to side). Never found pool this tiring or fun LOL 

More food adventures with the noob at Chef's Gallery! (And making good use of another entertainment voucher hehe). Definitely enjoyed the meal choices that night, left with a food baby and possible food coma.

At one of the library sessions (third and fourth wheeling Eric and Shelly with Dan), we found the room with a Pikachu on the whiteboard! Then the guy who always checks the library rooms/computers came and asked if any of us drew the Pikachu (we said no) and he rubbed it out :( 

Usanerd with Anthony  I mean Sam. Not sure how Tim talked for an hour straight but in the end it still sounded too good to be true. Pretty sure there are perks to this industry which they don't reveal. 

Usanerd #2 at Burwood with Anfuknee, Isam (W) and William. Had a food run after Usanerd and Isam really loves his spicy sauce, he collects them. I remember my Hungry Jack's days where I would just take a bagful of spicy sauce home and that would last me a year. Those were the (good) days. 

Southern Wok adventures

11th May - The day I sat in my chair for 5 hours straight, my ass nearly cramped.

Never again am I drawing realistic shit, I'm just going to stick with statues and anime. I also like to call this sketch 'Fat Pigeon'.

12th May - Hehehe yumcha adventures! Too bad they were closing by the time we arrived (3pm) so they basically stopped cooking i.e. we could only choose from what was left. Not complaining though because I still got to order 80% of what I usually do (minus the chicken feet) so I was pretty happy chappy hehe. 

The day before Perdisco was due and the day I went to Lulu's house to "study" (i.e. play LoL). Spent half the day throwing shit at Anthony, he got so mad but I continued anyway cos it's Anthony.. and I'm a top bloke. He had his stupid rabbit hat on the entire day and legit looked like a Luser. Even when his mum was complaining about the hat, he still kept it on.

Friday 9th of May - JJ Lin concert! The day I experienced sex to the ears with Jeff, Joanna, Michelle and Crystal. 

Despite having a long day i.e. working since 6am and getting home at 5, JJ's voice made everything better. Never knew that it was possible for a person to sound even better live. I wish I hadn't worked earlier during the day because I apparently fell asleep for a bit during the concert.. not sure how I managed that but ocake. 

害怕，江南 (jizz)，背对背拥抱 were my favourites. Even though I recorded the songs that I knew, the audio in the video did not do JJ's voice justice.. it doesn't capture the beauty and greatness of his voice I swear (only those who went to see him would understand what I actually mean. SUCK MY DICK KENJIN YOU WILL NOW NEVER FIND OUT). May or may not have bullied Jeff a bit too much that night hehe, sorry <3 p="">

The day where Jeff and Gong paid a visit, the day we played piano tiles religiously and the day we tried to solve Jeff's gay riddles omg. Do you guys like my visual representation of Jeff? I think it's pretty accurate. And once again I'm bullying him sigh 

Late nights by the harbour. Surely you guys would have caught on by now (the fact that my blog will now consist of many photos of Darling Harbour). Every morning, I think to myself: I should just take a photo of the harbour every day from the same position and create a blog where I just upload each photo every day and see how it changes over the years. Cos I'm sentimental like that. 

YEAH SUCK MY DICK OKAMOTO, EVEN THOUGH I JIG CLASS I'M ACTUALLY PRETTY OKAY AT JAPANESE. I also beat Kenjin by 0.25 hola. Are cute stamps a tradition for teachers who teach Japanese? I remember in high school (wow makes it sounds like it happened a decade ago) Mr Riley would stamp our merit cards, work and tests with cute stamps too! Sigh I actually miss high school (loljokes only the English lessons with Luan, Cindy and Sam). If anything, I really miss the break after high school and before the start of university. I would pay to replay and revisit those times, had the greatest time of my life during that three month holiday. 

Tutoring the cutest kid ever, Neo! He has a problem with his speech where he can't pronounce the letter 's' properly - he would say 'sh'. I basically spend half of my time going through words that start with S and making sure he swallows his saliva every time he pronounces an 's' word (it makes it sound much clearer and cleaner) 

The day before management was due - Studying hard or hardly studying? Jenny and I decided to walk up to stairs from level 3 to 8 and I may or may not have gotten asthma from the climb. I felt like I was doing the everest simulation, but in real life. Had a hot chocolate run, came back to do "work" i.e. open 40 tabs for management (since I don't have internet at home I have to prepare my research things beforehand) and left around 4:30pm I think. I don't remember what happened for the rest of the night but I remember procrastinating so hard... and that's why I had to all nighter the next day just to complete the stupid essay. 

I also have a dictation test tomorrow but I just spent 3.5 hours hanging with Lulu just then and blogging has made me so tired and sleepy. Should I just nap and wake up at like 3am to study? Yeah I think I should do that. Wasted an entire day today looking up hotels and useless shit. I was meant to write notes for Japanese fml.
