EXAMS HAVE FINISHED! Well four days ago but yeah I have actually been surprisingly occupied despite being on holidays. This photo was also taken to commemorate the wonderful afternoon after my last exam but it was so bright and I didn't even realise that my finger covered half the camera but #yolo uploading it anyway. Black party was also quite interesting? Tristan went even though the faggot was like "oh yeah I don't have a ticket" nek minnut. Had my first "legal drink" (thank you Andrew!), had Melissa slap me 400 times for not telling her certain things and had mini screaming sessions whenever I bumped into Kenjin. Left early with Lulu and Dan (Dan and I had work early morning after) and we all slept together like family. Died at work but sold many pairs of boots hehe so I was tired but also quite proud of myself.
29th June - "Fancy"
Had work in the morning and kids these days sprout so early? I had to teach a Grammar Boy (Zac) and he actually looks pretty qt even though he's only a year 7 kid. Like, as pedo as that sounds but his hair was like pretty cool, he was pretty nice, and he was pretty damn smart. If only I was 6 years younger or something HAHA After work I headed home to "fancy up" then I met up with Dan to go high-roller window shopping. Stepped into LV and this asian woman pulls out a thick roll of $50 notes, takes out half to buy a bag then puts the rest of her stash (legit over $1000 in $50 notes) in her dodgy bag that slung across her waist?! Like anyone could just grab that and run, if I had over $1000 in notes I would hug myself to wherever I was heading an glare at everyone as if they were potential burglars. But yeah, played "guess the price tag" and a really ugly raincoat was around 6-8k like seriously wtf I could just cut up plastic and draw on LV all over for less than 6-8 dollars.
Wandered the shops of QVB and walking into Ferragamo was a bad idea because I wanted this black leather bracelet so bad (it was so cute) but budget :( Had to reluctantly leave the store (well willingly, because I knew that if I had stayed any longer, I would have gave in) and headed to Mizuya for 2 hours of karaoke and then dinner by the Harbour at the good old Eat Love Pizza.
Bruschetta - I have been craving bruschetta fo rso long and it tasted so fresh. Dan ordered this garlic crust pizza and it was the size of a normal pizza so we were pretty much 80% full after the entree.
Fettuccine boscaiola as usual - died eating this
Double panna cotta for dessert, Gamberi pizza + apple and cranberry juice. They added sweet chilli sauce this time and it actually tasted so damn good on the pizza. Left with extreme food babies, hung around at Starbucks because it was so, so cold and Dan kept running in and out of the building throwing his tantrums zzz so following after felt like running around in Antarctica. It was also my dad's birthday but I didn't realise until 10pm at night and by that time all the cake stores were closed oops but we celebrated it a week early so I guess that's okay? Also because I had no idea it was the 29th until Dan accidentally took a screenshot of his lock screen.
Side salad - Would usually finish this but was waaay to full to even eat a lettuce leaf
28th June - Work & Movies!
Woke up devastatingly early after Black Party for work and had a 9am-4pm shift then headed towards city to chill! Played a few games of pool, got smashed because I hadn't played in so long... and also because we were waiting to watch the Fault In Our Stars!
Dinner at Umi
Then I realised I bought a coupon from Groupon then this happened:
$5 for $10 worth of Gloria Jeans
It was also a pretty cold night so maybe getting cold drinks was a bad idea
I am proud to say that I didn't actually cry, only part Dan and I found pretty sad were the eulogies during the fake funeral. I don't know, but I expected it to be extremely sad because everyone was like "omg I should've brought a box of tissues" etc; etc; and yes I did hear sobs and sniffing during the movie but I didn't find it that emotional? The only times I found it emotional was when I tried to imagine myself in the character's shoes and that was so heart wrenching but otherwise yeah idk.. maybe because the actors aren't good looking l0l idk. Also watched Maleficent after for free! The beginning was so fake I felt embarrassed for the actors themselves but yeah any movie with Angelina Jolie is good so the latter half of it made up for the ridiculous opening scene.
I'm up high!
Uhmm I don't remember why I was hanging out with this kid? Loljokes just remembered - finished exam for Japanese, headed back to city to chill before Dan's volleyball game and Kenjin dogged cos it was his Dad's birthday zzz
Dinner at Yumei! Their chicken nambam isn't great tbh the tartar sauce is meant to be on top and everything but instead they give you a tiny bowl of sauce that wasn't even tartar sauce urgh
Dan's tempura don
Crab croquette (you can never go wrong with this!) Lulu then came to join halfway and she gave me a third of my birthday present i.e. a watermelon and it looks like the watermelon you see on TV's and shit like it was so green and it had the patterns and omfg I just wanted to split it open on the spot
Then we chilled at Passionflower!
Rose lychee (which tasted like soap), green tea, taro and pandan! Headed back to uni around 7 and watched the team win their semi-finals aww yeaaa. Tristan was also back and played in the game and that was quite a pleasant surprise. I also found it really cool when people throw the ball up in the air, run to it then slam it across the court when they serve omg like if I was doing it I would screw up my timing and run my face straight into the ball instead.
Mum has been overwhelming me with fruit - I usually don't like the purple grapes simply because they have seeds zz and I'm lazy (otherwise they taste so good) BUT THESE ONES DIDN'T HAVE SEEDS, THEY WERE HALF GREEN HALF PURPLE I FELT LIKE I WAS IN HEAVEN.
Dan and I died eating this plate of salmon (it was actually so much). We are also officially sick of salmon sashimi (never knew this day would come) but I decided to get the same thing today and we dreaded the eating process.
A few days back I celebrated my birthday again with the entire family and also celebrated Dad's birthday a week early. Then I went to check out my brother's new place by central park and holy shit the interior of the building is so cool. Too bad his place is tiny but I found the panda I bought him 2353 years ago from Shanghai! He still has it hehe
22nd June - Work & Bare Island
Had my first shift at TWW and it was a very foreign working environment so it took a while to adapt to. After work I went to pick up my ukuleles from Waterloo and then off the Bare Island we went! Decided to chill, eat the laksa we have been craving for and attempt to jam by the seaside.
Sunset
My untuned babies
Sexy Wings and laksa! The laksa wasn't as thick as the one we had the first time but nevertheless it still tasted pretty good (better than the one at Southern Wok, loljokes any laksa is better than the one at Southern Wok). Chilled in the car for a while and then while heading back home... we stopped for an impromptu Macca's run.
Basically made Dan go up and get me a Happy Meal HAHA and fake advertising I swear to god because they didn't have any of the TMNT toys as advertised on their menu boards and THEY DIDN'T HAVE TWILIGHT WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE MY LITTLE PONY TOYS. LIKE SERIOUSLY HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE TWILIGHT JESUS. I blame Clay for this My Little Pony knowledge (his favourite was Twilight and that just automatically became my favourite... maybe because that's the only one I know of LOL)
Winter festival by the Harbour wasn't that great zzz but when it snowed it was pretty entertaining for a minute. But then no matter how crap the event is, it's always the company that counts ^_______^
Before Kenjin's marketing exam, we decided to study at UNSW. This led to dinner at Whitehouse and the best card game session ever.
Mmmmmm you can never go wrong with these wedges
While waiting we decided to play a game and basically whoever ended up with the star would have to drink all three cups of water and not go to the bathroom for a certain amount of time. Dan ended up being the unlucky one. Played a few rounds of Big 2 then finished the night with 100 variations of snap. I pwned the boys so hard and Kenjin ended up being the sore loser and he had to do whatever dare we wanted him to (that was also reasonable). He had to hug Andrew for 10 seconds straight and say "Oh baby Andrew" otherwise he can't say anything about it being a dare... which would make things awkward as fuck. Kenjin fucked up and didn't even do it properly zzz. Stayed to watch volleyball and played handball with Kenjin for like 10 minutes LOL We're totally on our way to being fit and healthy because every Thursday we'll play a sport for 5-10 minutes then give up.
Headed to Tom n Toms to chill for bit after the game. I wasn't too fond of the garlic butter bread but Dan really liked it so I guess it was alright? Only because I love garlic butter overload on my garlic bread but this wasn't as garlicky as I hoped sigh
Chrysanthemum tea!
The sleepyhead hehe
Charlie Lovett omelettes part 2. The differences for the Atlantic omelette was quite interesting. My first one had a generous amount of avocado and minimal salmon but second round Atlantic had a hearty serving of smoked salmon and jew portions of avocado. It was delish regardless
I now officially have a thing for macarons. Salted caramel just makes my day
Went to get a frappucinno from Starbucks but we accidentally took someone's frap so we ended up with two...
Hurstville adventures - First world problems, whether I should choose green tea or taro for my cone.

It has been way too long since I've talked to Ian and holy shit nearly forgot how hilarious he was LOL
