The day we tried to study for our language proficiency test. Being the top friend, Kenjin brought two copies of each for N2 textbooks... along with Doraemon - "I want to read it later." Two hours later and we didn't even touch any of the books LOL 

Saturday post-work adventures! 

Sushi buffet at Mascot! Dan and I were becoming quite frustrated because the first plate took 20 minutes to arrive and we had  a 75 minute time limit. We calculated that we could eat around 12 plates of sushi during that time (assuming it takes 10 minutes to come out, 2 minutes to inhale) but those hopes were crushed when the first plate took forever. Also because there literally were only two tables to serve, one had already gotten their food and the other came with the Groupon too but they were still eating... so they didn't actually have an excuse to be so slow... stingy Asians zzz 

Sushi was delicious and it came much faster after that so no regrets! We ended up leaving ten minutes early because we were way too full hehe. But yeah, would have preferred it if we didn't start our meal grumpy. 

Brighton adventures! Despite it being extremely windy and cold, we still ended up at the beach. Had a nice dinner at Hurricane's Grill (rib fest) and ended the night with beautiful butterscotch waffles and a cookie shake from Bay Vista. Definite food babies but definitely coming back for those waffles.
