Sunday 21st
Promised to walk him in the morning but things didn't work out in the morning (for some reason) so I had to leave with Dan. Spent a solid hour dnming with him the night before and I must say that he'd be the perfect dnm buddy (hehe see what I did there) if he didn't try to lick me every second/want me to throw his ball every 2 minutes. However, there were times where he would just fall to ground and let me rub his tummy hehe so I guess it wasn't too bad in the end!
Saturday 22nd - After work adventures
Whenever we drive to La Perouse, we always pass a 'scenic outlook' sign but we were never bothered turning into the road and actually going up to this place. For some reason, we did. Came across this place and it was pretty nice (definitely more peaceful than La Perouse because the carpark is just bombarded with tourists/wogs - not being racist, just an observation). Since the road was long and quite empty, I took over the wheel! Well, steering only and Dan accelerating (or no acceleration in this case).
Clear skies but an extremely windy day
Ended up climbing a few rocks and adventuring back to the place we first went to. The tide was quite high and the waves kept crashing onto the rocks. It was actually extremely pretty watching the sea foam beneath me.
Got splashed because I stepped down onto a lower rock to take photos but #worth
At one point in time the waves were getting bigger and bigger and it felt like we were going to be hit by the waters (we had no where to escape because our backs were facing the rock/cliff and to run across to the other side would be much danger because surfaces were extremely slippery). But yeah, may or may not have squealed/screamed and the Asian couple who had also popped by for a minute or two laughed at me. Well not really laugh, but more like a smile and an inside thought: "Haha, kids these days".
The sun then started to set
The key focus here is the old man in the background intensely squatting for his grandson's photo shoot. Walking towards Bare Island, the old man was super-squatting down below on the rocks as he tried taking photos of his family. Walking back from Bare Island, we find him not very far from where we first saw him, and still continuing his photography session. Quite cute.
