Date at the playground - playground as in the Burberry building LOL
Spent a good hour trying on trench coats for the final time to confirm sizes. Long story short, Dan wanted a slim fit mid length trench coat but Burberry doesn't offer that in the men's Sandringham collection so we settled for a larger size from the women's Sandringham line. The only difference is the stitching (according to the poor guy who had to run back and forth 30 times getting different sizes) and both short and long trenches in Sandringham weren't very favourable.
But finally, after months and months of frothing, we are going to get these babies hehe #goodbyemoney. Being the Asians we are and since Burberry doesn't offer boxing day sales on Heritage items, we're going to get it 60 days before our trip to Japan and claim tax LOL
Then we had dinner at Hurricane's (or tornadoes HAHA Kenjin where are you again)
Same food every time but it never disappoints!
And a full rack of beef ribs with mushroom sauce
Don't let this angle fool you but this was massive, especially the half rack behind the one in the photo holy. As usual we were stuffed by the end of our meal and we devoured it within a little over ten minutes! I never understand why people order pork ribs because the meat on the bone is minimal and ??? why ??? Ordered it once before and never again.
Darling Harbour adventures
Despite being in heels, we bummed around in the playground. Felt like 8 year olds but I don't know why we still find it so fun? Dan went on the flying fox four times, twice normally then twice again with his eyes closed and it was pretty qt seeing him being all kiddy hehe
Also decided to not take JLPT after contemplating its opportunity costs for a week straight. I've been stressing over this exam for the past two weeks and to know that there's still one more week until the test just frustrates me even more. You wish that the exam would come sooner so you could have more time in your holidays to actually relax and chill but at the same time you want enough time to study for it. After weighing the pros (not wasting the $90) and the cons (not going to pass as I'm not going to get through 4 textbooks in one week), I decided to make up for the loss by going to work on that same morning (which I would've cancelled because of this exam).
Going to give it proper go next year.
